Privacy notice
This page explains how the Physics at GIS course hub uses data when students, parents, and staff browse the site or open linked resources.
What this site does
This is a student-facing physics course hub. It does not provide user accounts, take payments, or intentionally track visitors for advertising.
The site may still process limited technical data needed to deliver web pages, such as IP address, browser information, device information, requested pages, and timestamps. This kind of data may be handled by the hosting and security services used to run the site.
Linked and embedded resources
Some lessons link to or embed resources from Google services, including Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and Forms. When you open or load those resources, Google may process information under its own privacy terms.
If a Google Form is used, the information you submit in that form may be collected by the teacher or school team responsible for the activity. Only submit information that is requested for the learning task.
How data is used
Data connected with this site is used to:
- deliver course pages, lessons, and resources;
- keep the site secure and reliable;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- support teaching, revision, and classroom activities.
The site is not intended to collect sensitive personal information. If a linked classroom activity asks for personal information, that collection should be limited to what is needed for the activity.
How long data is kept
Technical logs are kept only for as long as needed by the relevant hosting, security, or operational service. Responses submitted through linked Google Forms or shared documents are managed separately by the teacher or school team responsible for that resource.
Privacy questions
For questions about a particular lesson resource or form, contact the teacher who shared it. For broader privacy questions, contact the school through its usual communication channels.
This notice may be updated if the site adds new features, analytics, forms, or other services that change how data is handled.
